Sponsored by the Elk Creek Volunteer Fire Dept., a non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide fire protection for the Elk Creek Valley and surrounding areas. In addition, we work closely with the Elk Creek Resue Squad, Inc. on traffic accidents and provide mutual aid to adjoining departments in Grayson and Wythe counties in Southwest Virginia. Any donations made to our department are tax deductible, and our entire department consists of non-paid volunteers that spend hundreds of hours per year training and raising the necessary operating funds.
